We woke up in the morning with cramped legs but excited moods. After eating a quick cheese sandwich in our room, we ran to the train station to begin our journey to Zaanse Schans. First, we had a 20-25 minute train, and after that, we boarded a bus that took us straight to the city centre. I was super excited to see what the small town-like place would be like. As soon as we left our bus, a whiff of brownie and melted chocolate oozed all over the place, and it was just like that. We were walking to the windmills, and when we were finally there, we were all flabbergasted. We had a mind-blowing view of all 4 windmills over there. When we decided that we were going to go inside one of them, I was out of words. I was super excited to go inside a real windmill and see how it was from the 1700s. When we reached there, I was awe-struck by how unique the whole windmill was. They had steep ladders that were almost as hard as climbing a cliff. When we reached the rooftop, we had an amazing view of green pastures and the ocean. Unfortunately, it started raining, so we rushed back home after eating some pizza, and then we boarded the bus to come back to Amsterdam. That night, we relaxed and got prepared for our next journey in Amsterdam.
