On day 5, most of our time was spent travelling to Brussels. After grabbing a quick bite, we headed to the train station, and then we rushed to the next train so that we wouldn't miss it. And after the first train, we boarded three more long trains to finally reach Brussels. As soon as we reached, we had to take yet another subway, followed by a tram. By the time we reached our stellar hotel, we were exhausted. We decided to make use of the kitchen we got in our room and ate Maggi. We pulled out the last bit of energy we had ahead and headed to the grand place. It was gorgeous with fine gold walls and mesmerising architecture, which was just mind-blowing. That day we also enjoyed a creation from Brussels called Brussel waffles, or when named by New York in 1945... Belgian waffle! It was finger-licking. That night, we made pasta in our room with onions, and it was one of the best and only pasta I had made in my life. We rested and got ready for the next day in Brussels.
