After a refreshing nap, we were ready to explore Amsterdam, and what better way to do that than to ride bicycles? That city was made for bicycles. We were walking around the previous day and realised that the whole city was made for bicycles, and I mean that. There were as many separate roads for cars as for roads for cycles, or maybe even more. It was also the most efficient way of transport because there is no chance of traffic, and it is faster than walking. Back to our journey. First, we rented our lovely bikes and roamed around in Amsterdam. The whole city is magical, with some of the best and only canals I have ever seen. Not only that, but cycling itself was a thrilling experience. The air rushes in your face, you're in complete control, and it was even better with the Amsterdam weather. Next, we decided to go for a bit of shopping and visit Vondelpark. The beautiful massive trees mixed with some of the best scenery of my life, it was mesmerising. Finally, we visited the Anne Frank House. Knowing about her past and seeing it firsthand has a profound impact and connection. We head back home because it started raining, and then head to a supermarket to get some fun food for our breakfast. Then, towards the end of the day, we went to a fancy place called the senses. Unfortunately, it began raining, so we couldn't use our cycles, so we took a cab. We had a great time over there, despite knowing nothing about the menu. The food was very exquisite, and it was overall a great experience.
